About the course

The evolution of the use of technology in financial services is replacing many aspects of traditional financial services. Businesses are taking advantage of the application of FinTech to develop new services that give consumers more choice about how to manage their money. It has also led to new and important ethical, legal and security challenges.

This executive education programme enables financial professionals, regulators, and investors to critically assess the impact of FinTech on financial services, and explore trends and opportunities.

You’ll look at the blockchain revolution, the power of big data and artificial intelligence, tech-driven finance including open banking and InsurTech, and aspects of sustainable finance including design and cyber risk.

As both the pace and magnitude of change continue to pick up, there’s a unique opportunity today to bring together Edinburgh’s expertise in finance, business, AI and informatics to lead the world in FinTech.
