Spanish Beginners Step 1 

Our beginner Spanish course will teach you the basics of the language. Whether you are going on holiday, want to pick up a new hobby, learn for your career or take the first step to becoming fluent, our Beginners class will help you on your journey. You will develop basic linguistic skills through a variety of listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. The course focuses on language that is required for communicating in real everyday situations, such as introducing yourself and others and talking about the daily routine. This course is taught by specialists, using the target language of Spanish productively in the classroom. The course will include autonomous learning activities, which enable you to practise and consolidate your skills.

By the end of this course, you will be able to: 

• Introduce yourself.
• Ask for personal information.
• Talk about the weather.
• Explain your hobbies and interests.
• Locate and describe your city. 

This course is designed for anyone interested in learning Spanish who has no previous knowledge of the language. If you have any prior knowledge of the language, we encouraged you to assess your proficiency by using our Spanish level self-assessment form. If you have registered for a course that is not at a suitable level for you, you can request a transfer after classes 1 and 2 of the course.
